JEFF GRAY
Owner / Master Electrician

MEET THE OWNER

As a second generation owner of Gray Electric, I started working in the family business when I was 16 years old. After attending NWTC in Green Bay, I received my vocational degree in Electricity, then attended WWTC in LaCrosse completing an associate degree in Eletro-mechanical Technology. When my father retired in 1999, I continued the family business as the new owner.

I am a Master Electrician, as well as a commercial building inspector, and residential building inspector. I love being a part of the Mauston and Tomah communities and helping to provide quality service through this family owned business since 1958.

Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy boating, UTV’s, snow skiing, snowmobiling, and traveling. My wife, Melanie and I have 3 sons: Mitchell, Gavin, and Reece.

I started working at Gray Electric in 1995, but have been here essentially my whole life. I am the daughter of the founders Robert and Evelyn Gray, which means I am the sister of the current owner, Jeff Gray. Being the office manager means taking care of all the behind the scenes tasks. In my free time, I enjoy doing water aerobics, Soduku puzzles, and spending time with family. I have two grown children and two grandchildren, and being called "Nana" is my favorite title.

NANCY SCHAUER
Office Manager

I am married to a beautiful nurse and mother to my 2 young sons. You can find me on the weekends spending most of my time with family, working on cars or working on our little homestead farm at home. Being an avid outdoorsman, I enjoy hunting and fishing during my free time.

COLTON JOHNSON
Facility Warehouse Manager

Master Electrician

I have been in the electrical trade since 1984 and with Gray electric since 2003. Hobbies/Interests: Hunting, fishing, camping, and I am a volunteer firefighter.

BOB RESCH
Master Electrician

I have been an electrician since 1979, beginning with the company founder of Gray Electric. Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy the outdoors no matter the weather. I love to hunt and fish. I have been married for over 31 years, and enjoy my 5 children and 2 grandchildren, with more grandkids on the way!

SHELDON LABUDDA
Master Electrician

I received a Technical Degree in Industrial Electronics Maintenance and an Associate Degree in Electromechanical Technology from WTC in LaCrosse. I became a Master Electrician in 2022. Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy hunting, shooting bow, woodworking, supporting the Packers and Badgers.

JAKE STOCKWELL
Master Electrician

I have been an electrician since 1988, and in the electrical trades since 1999. Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy camping, motorcycling, bee keeping, being with my family and UTV riding.

LOUIS LAWRENCE
Journeyman Electrician

I have been an electrician since 2016. Hobbies/Interests: snowmobiling, boating, fishing and hunting.

CHRIS KLUENDER
Master Electrician

I started in the electrical trades in 2008 and completed the apprenticeship program to become a journeyman electrician. I completed my training to become a Master Electrician in June 2023. I have 3 years of maintenance work and 2 years of electromechanical technology program at WTC. Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy deer hunting, spending time with my wife and 2 children, watching the Packers and Brewers, craft beer and reading. I am also a part of the Lyndon Station Fire Department.

LUKE STANEK
Master Electrician

I started for Gray Electric right out of high school in 2014. I enjoy being an electrician because every day is something new and a chance win and be successful. Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy golfing, hunting and spending time with my family. I especially enjoy watching my children grow and make memories.

MYLES CONNER
Registered Electrician

I joined the Gray Electric team in 2023. I like to fish, stay active and workout, sports, and play guitar.

CARVER GOODMAN
Registered Electrician

I joined the Gray Electric team in 2023. I enjoy spending time outdoors on my hobby farm with my chickens and goats, hiking with my dog, camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, and canoeing.

SAM HERTEL
Registered Electrician

I recently graduated from Royal High School and joined the Gray Electric Electrical Apprenticeship program in the Fall of 2020. I started working in the electrical trade because I wanted a job to keep me busy and that challenged me almost every day. Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy hunting, fishing and watching my favorite Wisconsin sports teams, the Packers, Badgers and Brewers.
